After the 1st 18 months of service (HIDDEN IN YOUR CONTRACT) the finance bill goes up by 32%. When they say you’re financed for X$ per month, tack on an extra 32% that the salesman conveniently forgot to mention. The Salesman repeated 25x that our payment was fixed and would never change. Now, we’re stuck with this unexpected increase in our bills. Beware of hidden costs with this company!
Mike’s crew worked quick and efficiently to install our solar panels and connections. The work was neat and looks great! We’re excited to begin generating our own power!

TopTier had been a pleasure to do business with. They stopped to talk with us about the benefits of going solar and explained the whole process with us in a manner that we were able to understand. I had my solar system installed at the beginning of January. I just received PTO from the Duke Energy today and am excited to turn on my panels and start producing my own power. BIG shout out to Top Tier Solar Solutions for a smooth installation process and for getting everything up and running quickly.
Do not sign up with this company. Please do your research. We are producing 1/4 of what was quoted. 1/4. My electric bill is exactly the same. AND I cannot afford to turn on the heat. So I am so stressed about now having the panel bill AND the normal electric bill.
I recently took the plunge and decided to switch my home over to Solar Power. There are a lot of companies doing this, and I decided to go with Top Tier Solar Solutions.
If you want to go solar, I recommend not with this company, they have the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. When they were installing the panels back in June 2023, they said that they mistakenly installed the bases for the panels and had to redo everything, which delayed the installation by weeks. Since then, I’ve been having issues with my system, and every time I try to call for help, I’m put on hold for hours or told that someone will call me back but never do. Save yourself the headache and find a different company!
We had a great start with our relationship with Top Tier and our solar journey. We did run into a snag with our county airport. Top Tier fought for our right to use solar! My only complaint is there was a disconnect with communication. We didn’t know that there would be delays until the last minute, which was frustrating. But overall, we’re happy with our decision to go solar with Top Tier.
Great team, great communication, they let you know where you are each step and keep you informed about the details of each step. The install was fast and easy done in a day, the techs are very nice and helpful. I didn’t realize how easy the process was and how easy they make it. I would definitely recommend them to everyone.
I wish I could give a negative star. Brad Baldwin with Top Tier Solar knocked on my door and I wish I never purchased solar from them. He explained that by going solar I would never have an electric bill ever again and once I paid off the system, my electric would be free. That was a lie. My electric bill has hardly decreased, and now I’m stuck with this huge loan payment for a system that isn’t doing what was promised. Stay away from this company!
Top Tier Solar Solutions definitely deserves the company name they selected. It was eight days from the time I signed the agreement with their sales guy, Jeff Pearson, that the installation crew was at my home putting in the system. They were here at 8:00am on the dot as scheduled. The crew was very nice, professional and respectful of my home and property. They worked hard until finishing and cleaning up at approximately 5:00pm. Now, I can’t wait to get the county inspection and start making my own electricity!
We had our solar system installed in September of 2022. Yes, a year and a half ago. The sales rep was great and the team was prompt to get everything installed. After install I had to go into our attic to get some stuff that we had stored up there and saw the work they had done up there. It was very clean and neat and they even came back to reseal the small whole that was previously up there for a whole other reason. I am very pleased with my system and am grateful to be saving the planet!
