Reviews

Positive Reviews

1. “We had our solar install this week and couldn’t be happier! The whole process was very smooth and seamless from getting a quote to the install. The team did a great job explaining the process and answering any questions I had. Everyone was very respectful of our home and property as they did the install, and it all went up so quickly! 8M truly has a great team who are all very knowledgeable and good at what they do. The sales guy was especially amazing and really went the extra mile for me. They are very honest and transparent about their prices (which are reasonable) and process, unlike so many other solar companies out there. It was so worth the investment especially with how great the customer service is and the lifetime workmanship warranty they include. The actual panels look amazing and the design looks so clean and well done. Overall just a great company and I am so glad we went with them!”
2. “8MSolar was nothing but professional, informative, and efficient. I wanted to get an interconnect form to Duke Energy before the net metering changes on October 1, and despite me waiting until September 13 to get that process started, they got the interconnect request done in time and the system was operational less than two months from signing paperwork. I never felt rushed or out of the loop, the sales process was informative but not pressured, the project manager kept me informed of my next steps and status at all times, and promptly answered any questions I had. The price was competitive, coming in well under the competition with as good as or better equipment and warranties. The system is working as designed, the install looks clean, and I feel confident that if I have any questions or issues down the road, 8MSolar will be happy to help.”
3. “8MSolar was fantastic to work with. The whole process was easy. Everyone is extremely professional – sales, installers, electricians. They are all great people to work with and do excellent work. We had an excellent experience in every way. Overall an excellent experience working with them.”

1. Full Purchase: This is the most cost-effective option of solar financing. You are essentially paying for 25 years of electricity in one payment! Consider future electricity bills a thing of the past.
2. Solar Loan: Customers will typically go with either a short-term financing plan, such as a $0 down / 18 months of no payments / “same as cash” loan to hold them over until they receive the 30% tax credit.Or a longer-term financing plan, something like a 25-year / 2.99% / $0 down plan where you would have very low monthly payments – often lower than your current electric bill!
